Any original piece of work may be performed — a song, poem, prose sample, or bit of comedy (appropriate for the public, PG-13). We will have a mic and speaker set up — however, no additional sound equipment will be provided. (Any musical performances should be acoustic.) Drop in anytime throughout the night to listen, snap along, or perform your masterpiece!
You may bring in your own simple audio equipment that can be plugged into an extension cord. However, please do not bring in any equipment that requires extensive setup!

Suzanne Stewart will guide you through this process and provide all of the necessary materials. This is a two-part class, starting on December 14th from 10am—12pm, and finishing on December 19th from 5:30—7:30pm.

Join us for our November Homeschool Art Club! Students have the opportunity to learn techniques and instructions for specific projects—this month we'll be making winter scenes! We are here to provide arts education for the homeschool community and will supply all materials and directions. Bring your family and get ready to get creative at the Arts Center!

Explore intentional interactions between media, and learn how to implement them in meaningful ways. What do these different media emotionally communicate? Can we abstract our painting to push into these elements? Madelyn will guide participants in the fusion of charcoal, paper collage, pencil, acrylic paint, and oil pastels through an honest exploration of identity. This class will help you build and develop proficiency with various painting materials, techniques, and ideas. It will also help expand your interactions between media to implement them in powerful ways.
Whether or not you've taken this class before, you will gain new insights and techniques by attending! Feel free to ask for specific guidance or techniques.
