PRINTMAKING OPEN STUDIO

INK, PRESS, REPEAT! The Larry Jon and Jacqueline Harvey Davis Printmaking Studio is available for independent use 4 days per month this summer, with Nikki Ponce as our resident mentor!

HOW IT WORKS: Purchase a block of time and use your credits at your leisure! You will be responsible for logging your time, but can feel free to spread your hours across multiple sessions. Please let us know when you plan to attend Open Studios by emailing education@galesburgarts.org or via the BAND app.

PRICING - HOURLY BUNDLES

2 HOURS: $15

4 HOURS: $20 (members) / $25 (non-members)

8 HOURS: $35 (members) / $40 (non-members)

12 HOURS: $50 (members) / $55 (non-members)

CLAY OPEN STUDIO

CENTER, SHAPE, THROW! The Pottery Studio is available for independent use 4 days per month this summer, with Jason Connell as our resident mentor!

HOW IT WORKS: Purchase a block of time and use your credits at your leisure! You will be responsible for logging your time, but can feel free to spread your hours across multiple sessions. Then, a minimal fee will be added for clay, firing, and glazes, depending on how much clay you use. Please let us know when you plan to attend Open Studios by emailing education@galesburgarts.org.

To use the space independently, participants must have completed at least 2 wheel throwing classes at the Arts Center or demonstrate equivalent experience. Curious about eligibility? Email education@galesburgarts.org.

PRICING

In addition to studio credits, the Pottery Studio has the following material costs:

Clay fee = $2/lb | Glaze fee = $4/lb

For example, using 6lbs of clay will cost $12 for the clay itself and $24 to glaze all the pieces. Any clay that is reclaimed/discarded will not incur material fees. You may bring in your own clay or glazes with prior approval.
