Arts in Action: Wear Your Pride - Printmaking Workshop

Celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride & Create Your Own Patches!

REGISTER

In partnership with Knox College's Arts in Action course, students will host a series of FREE workshops at the Galesburg Community Arts Center.

Join Lizzie to create personalized, wearable patches and gather with others to celebrate LQBTQ+ Pride! Lino stamps are custom creations made by carving a design into a soft, rubbery block, which you can then use on many surfaces. Create a stamp based on what LGBTQ+ pride is to you, a silly design, or whatever your heart desires.

This workshop is intended for teens and above (14+). All materials provided, but feel free to bring your own fabric to print on! (The best types for printing are tightly woven natural fabrics like cotton, linen, and canvas. Avoid loosely woven fabrics and synthetic blends.)

Please let us know if you can no longer attend, so that your spot may be filled by someone else.
