Every January is Kids' Month at the Galesburg Civic Art Center, FREE to elementary-aged children. Past themes have explored the art of Africa, New Orleans and India. Stay tuned for 2019 information!
Mess Fest is an August event where mess rules! Held just before everyone heads back to school elementary age kids are invited to come out and get messy!
Something New Saturdays is an opportunity for your Pre-K through 4th grader budding artist to have studio fun! Each monthly session (first Saturday of each month) features a different theme to introduce a variety of unique art experiences. $5 for a child and their grown up or $3 for members.
Bluebrick Collective Open Studio happens twice per month on select Sundays (12-4pm) and is an initiative that cultivates creativity for all ages in our community. Open Studio Access, bring your own medium or experiment with ours (each month is focused on a different medium - materials will vary)! $3 with Student ID or GCAC Member/$5 Nonmember
Art Camp is open to 5th - 8th graders in our area. Four- 1week sessions are planned for this summer, with classes as varied as Painting - Printmaking - Drawing - Sculpture - Fiber.
Artifacts Art Club is open to high school and college students (homeschoolers welcome) who are interested in exploring art-making, visiting artist studios, volunteering at art-centric events, and learning about art!
