Paulette Thenhaus, 1986 residency, Carbondale, IL
After my residency, I received my MFA from SIU, Carbondale. I moved to Galesburg in 1989 to become Director of the Galesburg Civic Art Center until 1994 when I opened my shop "Art, Naturally". I now write art reviews and stories for the local Zephyr newspaper and paint full time. I return often to paint the theme of fields and hay bales that I painted during the very first residency offered in 1986.
