The experience at Studios Midwest: It was wonderful, encouraging and formed lasting friendships.  I met my future husband at a Studios Midwest gathering and we eventually moved to Chicago and married. Studios Midwest changed my life. I would love to do it again and I recommend the program to every artist I know. I appreciate the opportunities that followed to show my art with the Galesburg Civic Art Center, and I was honored to be asked to judge, as part of the committee, the submissions for Studios Midwest 2006. Recently, I had a solo exhibition at Vanderpoel Museum, Chicago.
