Enter the Galesburg Welcome Center and notice an arch constructed with more than 40 artists' canvases. Lori Reed, a graphic artist, suggested the design after seeing a community project in another welcome center.

Canvases created by area artists, visiting artists, photographers, teachers and graphic designers form an arch over a door. More canvases are added each year.
